These pictures show the recent filming of a First World War television drama. Set during the Great War, the programme tells the story of a number of men called up and their subsequent triumphal return to Wells and Midsomer Norton, two towns very close to Cranmore.

  • "Hanover Street" - Film starring Harrison Ford and Lesley Anne Down. Features a motorbike chase, which involves a jump over the cutting near Merryfield Lane, performed by Eddie Kidd.
