The East Somerset Railway have a number of projects currently in progress -

• Cranmore Water Tank - Providing a Water Tank and crane at Cranmore Station
• Cranmore Signalling - Refurbishing the signal box and reinstalling the signal equipment at Cranmore Station
• Extensions- Plans for extending the railway
• Engine Restoration - Overhauling ex-GWR 56xx 0-6-2T no.5637
• Restoration and maintenance of carriages and wagons
