The clocks will be turned back over the weekend at the East Somerset Railway as it relives the 1930s - 1950's.
Rural Britain going back to the 1930?s and beyond; this is intended to be a celebration of rural life surrounding a county station and will include attractions such as vintage agricultural equipment, war time vehicles, displays, stalls etc.
We will have people dressed in period costume, a singer giving you the feel of the era with songs like ?She?ll be coming round the mountain? and ?the white cliffs of Dover?.
The train will have real ale from Blindman?s Brewery on-board for your refreshments and our Whistlestop restaurant will be serving hot and cold food and teas and coffee. Blindman?s Brewery is a local brewery 3 miles from the station and brews award winning ales.
We are always looking for new exhibitors for our events. If you would like to exhibit over this weekend please contact the station for an application form Email us
