"My Railway" project

Peoples experiences of the ESR are varied and interesting, and by recounting them, others gain a greater understanding about the railway. Therefore, a new project called "My Railway" has been launched which aims to gather these personal stories and reminiscences about the ESR. These will be published on the website and some will be printed in the Journal.

If you are interested in joining in this project, you can submit your story in written or recorded form to -

If you wish, your submission can be anonymous, although all submissions will be vetted to avoid legal issues, and the management reserve the right to remove any submissions they feel may cause problems for the railway.

Please join in - any size of submission is acceptable, from a few lines to several chapters.
